RELMA

The Regenstrief Institute provides a Microsoft Windows-based mapping utility called the Regenstrief LOINC Mapping Assistant (RELMA®) for searching the LOINC database and helping map local codes to LOINC codes. Read an overview of RELMA's features and system requirements.

Like LOINC, RELMA is also available at no cost.

The RELMA User Manual is available within the LOINC Knowledge Base.

RELMA Release Notes

A chronological listing of notes across all RELMA software releases.

Use of the RELMA Database

The RELMA program uses a database that includes the LOINC table and other database tables. As indicated in the LOINC License, users may use the LOINC table by itself, but not use the other database tables from the RELMA database (except in conjunction with their use of the RELMA program) without prior written permission from Regenstrief Institute, Inc. The other tables in the RELMA database are in constant flux to support changes to the program, and we are not able to support migrations. We aim to provide exports of key content in a published format, such as the panels and forms file and other LOINC accessory files.
